Inciting Insights
This is VENKA Media. A not-for-profit, ground-up media initiative that seeks to engage the minds of youths through intellectual discourse in a lively and fluid setting. We aspire to be a platform that promotes healthy discussion and debate, while promoting social cohesion.
VENKA's Story
The word VENKA (meaning “victorious”) originates from the world’s most widely spoken constructed language Esperanto, which was created in 1887 by a Jewish eye doctor.
He wanted to achieve world peace through a language that could be easily picked up by anyone.
Similar to his ideals, the team hopes to foster understanding between Singaporeans of different backgrounds, be it race, culture or religion.
